How to make budget changes without changing the Service Order number

The first step is to check in Settings > Collaborators if you have the advanced change permission released in your registration. This permission is essential for you to make changes to proposals already approved.

Also, you want to make sure that this Service Order does not have any financial entries that have already left the pre-entry. You can see this in Contracts > Service Order or Finance > Postings. If there is a release, you must delete it.

Once you do that, go to Contracts > Quotes, edit what you want, make the necessary changes, and save.

Then go to Contracts > Proposals, edit the desired proposal, and save it again.

IMPORTANT! Do not change the proposal status or clear the budget checkbox, as this changes the number of the Service Order.

There, your Service Order will have new information but will keep the same number.
