Freestyle Forms: Hidden Input
The hidden input component allows you to save a value for a given respondent who fills out your form without them having to select or enter anything into the form. These types of hidden fields typically save a static value are send it along with the rest of the lead information to a third party web service when an integration is triggered.
To add a hidden input to your freestyle form, simply drag the hidden input icon into your form container.
After the hidden input is added to your form, you will be able to assign a data field to it within your creative studio.
To specify a value for the hidden input, click into the "Pre-Populated Value" section and select the default value option from the drop down menu. Next, enter your desired default value into the corresponding textbox.
Once this setup is complete, all respondents who submit the form will have this value saved to the data field that was assigned for the hidden input.
