What if ...?

What if I don't love my first design draft?
Projects typically come with multiple editorial and creative revisions, so if we didn’t wow you on the first try, we will on the second!

The trick is to give specific, actionable feedback. Providing examples of visual content that you like can really help the designer with the creative direction.

Contact us anytime at if you have concerns about your deliverables.

What if my feedback takes longer than 48 hours?
We understand that feedback might take longer to gather than what will fit in the constraints of a 2-3 week timeline. Communication is key, and posting to the Project page every few days --despite feedback delays -- is a great way to let your creative team know that things are still moving forward and helps them plan their workloads.

If feedback is delayed, milestones will be adjusted to give the creative team time to do their work.

We attract the best talent because we understand how valuable their time is, and part of that is releasing our creative teams from stalled projects so they can take on other work that is moving forward. Your communication will help plan these gaps, and in most cases the project will move forward with the same creative team, picking up where it stopped.

All project types have suggested standard timelines, with fees that cover not only the final deliverable, but access to design and support staff:

  • Static content and infographics: 10-24 days (maximum 45 days)
  • Videos: 35 days (maximum 60 days)
  • Interactive infographics: 56 days (maximum 90 days)

Every effort should be taken to complete these projects within these timelines.  Any changes to these timelines must be agreed upon in writing and may incur additional costs.

If at any time during the above timelines you become unresponsive for more than 2 weeks we reserve the right to close the project as completed, at which time the remaining fees will become due and payable.  Projects may be reopened at a later date for a fee equal to 20% of the total project cost.  This fee will be assessed monthly until the project is complete.  If the original freelance team supporting your project is no longer available, higher fees may apply to cover the cost of staffing a new team.

What if I need more revisions?
Most projects include at least one 1-2 revisions per deliverables. We can definitely work with you on additional revisions to meet your needs!

Contact us for information on additional fees.

What if I need to extend the length of my video, presentation, report etc.?
During the video or presentation process, you might realize that the initial length or number of pages you selected won't be enough time to fully tell your story.

Video length extensions are priced depending on animation type and are structured in an "up to" fashion (up to 60 seconds, up to 90 seconds, etc.).

Presentation extensions are priced depending upon the Tier as well, and are priced per additional page.

We are happy to help you extend the length of your video, presentation, report, or e-book - just send us a note!

What if my project was put on hold or closed?
If a project has no client activity for more than 14 days, we reserve the right to close the project as completed, at which time the remaining fees will become due and payable.

Projects that reach the final deliverable will be closed by Visually after 3 business days of receipt of the final files.

Projects may be reopened at a later date or remain open past the max completion time at Visually's discretion. In these instances a fee equal to 20% of the total will be assessed monthly until the project is complete.  If the original freelance team supporting your project is no longer available, higher fees may apply to cover the cost of staffing a new team.

In order to accommodate unforeseen issues, you can put your project on hold once for up to 14 days without incurring additional fees, unless your original team is no longer available. After 14 days, you will need to either reactivate the project or cancel it. If the original freelance team supporting your project is no longer available, fees may apply to cover the cost of staffing a new team. Should you cancel the project, standard cancellation fees apply and become due and payable. Should we not hear from you at the end of the 14 days, the project will be considered complete and the balance due.
