How to set up an external media map in iClips?

Learn how to carry out external media maps easily in your iClips.

iClips provides media maps (term for Insert Request) for external media, such as ads for out-of-home advertising in shopping malls, subway stations and bus benches , for example.

The main advantage of this kind of PI is to be able to buy media placements between one month and another, including the purchase of monthly and half-yearly packages, among others.

According to CENP (Standard Norms Executive Council), between 2017 and 2018 the only means of communication that showed an increase in investment were internet and out-of-home advertising (OOH). If you already work with this kind of advertising, you are way ahead of the game! In case you’re not, then it’s time to start thinking about it.

1. The first step is to go to settings > media settings > external media.

iClips already has some suggested types. If you need to include others, just click on the ‘+ new external media’ symbol to add some more.

2. Once that has been done, go to settings > communication vehicles, edit the desired one and head to the tab ‘price chart’.

Select the type of media — external — and the city. Insert data about the place/address and the value.

3. After saving, let’s head to creating the media map.

Click on contacts > media map and then click on the symbol ‘+’ to open a new media map.

Then you just have to fill in data about the type of media, communication vehicle, project, place and month in which the placement will start.
