How to generate a Project Profitability report

Very important information to qualify a client is to identify how much your agency has profited in relation to the total invested in one of your projects, either directly or indirectly, such as, for example, through commissions paid by suppliers related to these clients.

In iClips, the Project Profitability report allows you to view the results of financial transactions related to a specific project, which will allow you to understand whether it is worthwhile (or not) to serve it.

To view this report, go to Reports > Reports and B.I. > Project Profitability:

The screen will appear blank, displaying only the categorizations in the navigation options at the top of the page. To find the information you want, use the date and client filters:

When selecting the filters and clicking on the magnifying glass icon (Search), the system will display a table with: the total values related to the cost of each hour worked; the list of all generated revenues; and the crossing of these data, giving you the profitability indicator:

When using the navigation options at the top of the screen, you will find the "Period" tab. By clicking on it, it will be possible to view the values in detail (month by month) that totalled the data on the initial screen.

To optimize your view, you can also take advantage of the screen's sorting features, located just below the filter fields:

If you want to print the report in PDF or generate an Excel version, just click on the icons in the upper right corner of the screen:

See how simple it is? Now you can evaluate whether a project is profitable or not!
