How do I find out if my website/blog is hosted on Rock Stage?

In this tutorial, you will learn how to check if a website or a blog is hosted on Rock Stage.

If your blog was created by Rock Content, it might be hosted on Rock Stage or an older Rock server or if you own a website or blog that is migrating to Rock Stage, you may want to confirm whether the migration was completed and whether your website/blog is actually hosted on Rock Stage.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to check if a website or a blog is hosted on Rock Stage.

Checking the hosting by DNS setting:

The first option to check if your blog or site is hosted on Rock Stage is to check its DNS settings to see where the domain in question (the URL of the website or blog you are checking) is directing traffic to. In order to do that, let's use WhatsMyDns, which shows you the IP address an URL is configured to.

Just add the URL and click on Search, as shown below:

In case your website/blog is pointing to the IP's 151.139.128.10 or 151.139.128.11, then you are correctly pointed to Rock Stage's server.

Remember that an IP number is like a server's ZIP code, so it needs to be exactly the same as 151.139.128.10 or 151.139.128.11.

If the verification result is different from the image, with an IP address that is different from 151.139.128.10 or 151.139.128.11, and you do not use an IP masking service like CloudFlare, it is likely that your website or blog is not hosted on Rock Stage.

Checking the host through "wp-admin" page design:

It is possible that you use a service like CloudFlare, which masks the IP address and shows a different IP address than 151.139.128.10 as a result, even though your site or blog is hosted on Rock Stage.

In this case, another way to check the host is through how your wp-admin page 'looks'. The default design of an admin panel access page (wp-admin) on a Rock Stage-hosted website or blog normally looks like this:

When outside WordPress, the login and admin panel login page normally looks like this: (a less brighter shade of blue)

In case your website or blog uses any plugins or customization for the admin panel login page, it will not be possible to identify if it is hosted on Rock Stage simply by looking at the login page design.
