What are the benefits of using dashboards?

The main goal of dashboards is to concentrate the main information and activities of each department, facilitating the visualization and organization of demands and priorities.

Here at iClips, we have six dashboard options:

  • My activities
  • Activity Management
  • Service
  • Production
  • Media
  • Financial

My activities

Piece and task demands will appear in this dashboard for the logged-in employee. It is normally used by creatives, but other departments such as web design, copywriters, and social media can use it as the main page for monitoring activities to be carried out.

In addition to the Kanban view, you can choose among three other options:


Additionally, you can still add filters according to what you want to view.

Activity Management

This dashboard shows an overview of the agency with all activities that are in progress or to be delegated and planned for employees.

It also has several viewing options in addition to Kanban:


In addition to these options, there are also planning reports (which compare what has been done with what is estimated), the control of hours, where it is possible to adjust the incorrect duration of activities, and the report of active employees that shows who is currently working.

This is a very important dashboard for the agency's operations, as it allows for the planning of deadlines and those responsible.

In some agencies, there is a specific person that takes care of this distribution; in others, it is the service agent that performs this activity. Regardless of who does it, the important thing is that they are aligned within their reality as they will be distributed as parts for a better operation.

Service Dashboard

The service dashboard is directed to the management of the employee's jobs and activities of this department.

In this dashboard, it is possible to view the authorized jobs, those that must be presented, and those that should be completed soon, so that no deadline is missed.

In addition to this information, it is possible to see the pieces that are awaiting approval and must be delivered to customers, the status of the jobs (open ones, those that have already been closed, etc.), and what the customer opened through iJob.

The service agent visualizes the activities and "plays" them on the timesheet through this dashboard. You can include new jobs, pieces, tasks, among other items through the shortcut at the right side of the screen. In short, this is the dashboard with everything service agents need to manage the deadlines of their jobs and request new demands.

Production Dashboard

This dashboard is made especially for those who work with production and need to maintain control of the agency's service orders.

In this dashboard, it is possible to view the activities to be carried out as well as the completed ones by service order, those awaiting invoicing, those that are invoiced and canceled in a practical and centralized way. The interesting thing is that knowing the status of each of them, those responsible can perform the internal and external control, thus facilitating the contact with suppliers and customers to deal with services that are outsourced.

The tab on the right has some shortcuts to the list of suppliers, service orders, events, budgets, layouts and to create new items related to production that make work even quicker!

Media Dashboard

For media monitoring, this is the ideal dashboard!

The dashboard organizes media management between IOs awaiting billing, billed, and canceled, in addition to showing the available plans (highlighted) to assemble the IOs. The employee can use the shortcut on the right to create new IOs, plans and register a new media outlet.

We know that when it comes to broadcasting, time is precious. So using this dashboard can help you not to miss the media purchase deadlines and plans.

Financial Dashboard

This dashboard is essential for anyone who wants to view financial information in a quick and complete way!

You can check the current general balance, the balance of each account individually, your cash projection, among other various pieces of information that make the daily life of those who work directly with the agency's finances.

This dashboard can be used to quickly check earnings and expenses they need in each account and to plan for the balance to never be in the red and, of course, grow more each day! =)

Important: the information that appears on the dashboards is what the user is responsible for, whether in activities or documents such as proposals, budgets, or IOs for example. If you wish, you can set one of the above dashboards as your home page on iClips!

Only traffic and financial dashboards, which have more general information, do not depend on the user being responsible for viewing. Access to this information requires specific permissions set in the employee registration.

It is important that each employee always follows their own dashboard so that they have a more productive and effective journey.
